Wingfield Falcons edge Kosciusko Whippets 40-35 in Mississippi high school basketball game

Wingfield’s Jeffery Wesley led all scorers with 12 points as the Falcons beat Kosciusko Whippets 40-35 in a game at Wingfield High.

Wesley’s points came on 4 field goals, 1 three pointer and 1 of 2 free throws during the game.

Keonte Williams added 10. Kosciusko fell to 2-3 overall while Wingfield improved their record to 1-2.

Kosciusko’s next game is scheduled to be played at West Lowndes Shootout on Saturday Nov. 27 versus Tba. Wingfield will travel to Florence High School on Monday Nov. 22 to play Florence.
