De La Salle edges Orono 71-68

De La Salle’s Goanar Mar led all scorers with 27 points as the Islanders beat Orono 71-68 in a game at Chanhassen High School.”

Mar’s points came on 7 field goals and 13 of 16 free throws during the game.

Orono was led by Jarvis Thomas’ 20 points and Max Bjorklund added 19. Orono fell to 0-1 overall while De La Salle improved their record to 23-2.

De La Salle will host Big Lake on Wednesday Mar. 22 at 10:00am.
