La Costa Canyon Mavericks defeat Vista Panthers 62-48 in California high school basketball game

La Costa Canyon’s Brendan Perry led the way with 19 points as the Mavericks beat Vista Panthers 62-48 in a game at Panther Den, 1 Panther Way.

Perry’s points came on 5 field goals, 1 three pointer and 6 of 7 free throws during the game.

Miles Winfree added 20. Vista fell to 9-7 overall while La Costa Canyon improved their record to 4-0.

Vista’s next game is scheduled to be played at Mt Carmel High School on Tuesday May. 11 versus Mt. Carmel. La Costa Canyon will host Carlsbad on Friday May. 21
