Marina Vikings edge Vista Panthers 47-45 in California high school basketball game

Marina’s Armstrong led all scorers with 22 points as the Vikings beat Vista Panthers 47-45 in a game at Marina HS.

Armstrong’s points came on 5 field goals, 2 three pointers and 6 of 6 free throws during the game.

Gavin Guinn added 20. Vista fell to 2-2 overall while Marina improved their record to 1-1.

Vista’s next game is scheduled to be played at Mission Hills HS on Tuesday Nov. 29 versus Mission Hills. Marina will host Palos Verdes on Tuesday Dec. 13
