Walnut Wildcats cruises by Houlka Wildcats 64-24 in Mississippi high school basketball game

Walnut’s Madilynn Vuncannon led all scorers with 31 points as the Wildcats beat Houlka Wildcats 64-24 in a game at Houlka Attendance Center.

Vuncannon’s points came on 7 field goals, 4 three pointers and 5 of 6 free throws during the game.

Olivia Halford added 4. Houlka fell to 0-10 overall while Walnut improved their record to 9-6.

Houlka’s next game is scheduled to be played at Okolona High School on Friday Jan. 7 versus Okolona. Walnut will travel to Ripley High School on Friday Jan. 7 to play Blue Mountain.
